Former President Goodluck Jonathan has revealed that he is under pressure to contest for presidency in 2019.

According to Daily Post, GEJ said he has been receiving calls from people across Nigeria to run in 2019.
The former President said this while addressing some of his kinsmen who paid him a courtesy visit at his country home in Otuoke, Bayelsa state.

Reports also say chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have been calling on GEJ to become the party’s flag bearer in 2019.
According to the party's chieftains, it was PDP that failed the 2015 general election and not the former President.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan conceded defeat to President Buhari after the 2015 election results were announced.

On Thursday, November 17, 2016,
residents of Sokoto state gave the former President a rousing welcome » when he paid a condolence visit to the Dasuki family.

Reports say most of them carried placards with inscriptions saying ‘Come back Baba Jonathan’.

An aide to former Delta State Governor, James Ibori has said that he was
released » from a United Kingdom (UK) prison unconditionally.
Ibori was released on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, following a court order to that effect.

“He was released unconditionally by the court, I have been monitoring the situation in the UK through his lawyers,” the aide, Sunny Areh told The Sun.

“That case was on before now, it was a different trial. But it has nothing to do with the present release because even the judge handling that case had declared that there was no evidence that his property was acquired by stolen fund.

“That case also led to the earlier freezing of his account by the court but like I said, there is no evidence to show that his personal properties were acquired with public fund.

“So as I speak with you, Ibori is a free man. When eventually they re-open the confiscation case, he does not need to present during court proceedings but his lawyers will be in court.

“His travel documents must have expired by now. He needs time to renew the documents and perfect his plan to return back home. So it’s going to take some time before his coming to Nigeria,” he added.

Ibori was jailed on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 by the Southwark Crown Court of the United Kingdom after pleading guilty to ten counts of money laundering and conspiracy to defraud.

He was arrested in Dubai on May 13, 2010, on an international warrant after being declared wanted by the UK Metropolitan Police.

Ibori was subsequently extradited to the UK in April 2011, and tried on 23 counts of money laundering, forgery, and fraud.

He was accused of laundering more than $200 million but he only admitted to taking $50 million.

Ibori’s sentence was commuted to six and a half years and further reduced to four and a half years after the 645 days he had already spent in detention was taken into account.

News of his impending return has caused excitement in his hometown of Oghara in Delta State where he is known as the “Odidigborigbo of Africa.”

December 25 every year is set aside to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The build-up to this day is characterised by exchange of gifts and food items. This makes Yuletide period, the most anticipated time of the year for traders and gift vendors.
This case is, however, different this year as traders and vendors lament poor sales in the various markets visited by
Pulse correspondent in Abuja.
The first thing that came to mind as the reason for the poor human traffic was the current economic recession and the Dollar/Naira rates.

But investigations reveal that the freezing of accounts of participants of Ponzi scheme, MMM Nigeria contributed a great deal to the occurence.

"This Christmas season is the worst. It has never been this bad," said Kelechi Uzor, a rice vendor at Kubwa market.

"Look at my shop, full of rice and people are just passing because there is no money and things are very expensive. Some of my customers are saying their money is in MMM. We need prayers in this country," he added.

For others who were seen buying food stuff, the law of opportunity cost came in handy as they had to forgo some alternatives for other.

Mrs Adaora John-Obi, a civil servant said her family had to choose between eating good meals on Christmas day, having clothes with little or nothing to eat.

"A bag of rice is over N20,000, before I buy chicken and other things, I will end up spending close to N50,000. I have five boys who are in school," Mrs John-Obi said.

"So, I asked them if they prefer to spend the Christmas with new clothes, lots to eat and drink then remain at home or they want food and then return back to school in January. They said they wanted school, so I came to get a few things," she added.

Against the warning to invest their
"spare money," an MMM participant,
Udechi Evaristus blamed the supposed crash of the ponzi scheme, MMM Nigeria » , for the poor Christmas preparation in Abuja.

"You see this thing that MMM did, that is why people are not preparing for Christmas," Evaristus said at Wuse market.

"Even though they said we should invest our spare money, my friends and I risked almost all we had; and I am sure most Nigerians did the same thing because of the interest.

"If most people did not provide help before the account freezing, this market will be bubbling. Well, we pray that they will fix it (MMM) in January before there will no space in most mortuaries in Nigeria," he noted.

Other residents who spoke to Pulse however expressed optimism that the country would experience better days in 2017.

One of the ponzi schemes in Nigeria, Ultimate Cycler has crashed, sending panic waves across many of its Nigerian members who have invested their money in it as well as those who have equally invested in others such as MMM.

The ponzi website, Ultimate Cycler went down early Thursday morning, specifically around 10:30am(Nigerian time), shutting out every member who owns an account with it.

When accessed, the site initially displayed an error line of code, before displaying ”Error 500” in bold letters, then it proceeded to display another message: “ Be right back.

We are currently updating the site to give you a more pleasurable experience and will be back online shortly. Our update estimation is to be complete over the next 6 – 12 hours. Thank you, Peter Wolfing.”

Ultimate Cycler is a new ponzi scheme that followed MMM . This new money doubling scheme claims a promise of better returns on invested money than MMM.

The hook for Ultimate Cycler is members get a return of N50,000 after paying N12,500 to a fellow member he or she registered under.
As at the time of filing this report, the ponzi website has still not come to life.

Dangers for members who have invested in it or others like MMM is that when such websites go down, chances are that it never comes up again and hence, “investors'” money goes with it.

So, will Ultimate Cycler ever come back to life? This is question on the minds of every member.

graduates mobilised for the 2016 Batch ‘C’ service year, 26-year-old Ifedolapo Oladepo, a first class Transport Management graduate of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho had said her goodbye to her family members, set for Kano, hoping to see her dreams fulfilled.

However, exactly a week after, it was her corpse that was brought to her family after she was said to have died following complications arising from an ailment few days into the NYSC orientation programme in Kano.

Unsurprisingly, her death has raised suspicion from her family members who now claim Ifedolapo could have been saved if she had been given the necessary attention by the NYSC authorities at the Orientation Camp in Kano.

Said to be in proper health before leaving for the Orientation Camp, the death of Ifedolapo has led to several questions regarding the state of health facilities at NYSC orientation camps across the country.

The family identified particularly lack of qualified medical personnel and wrong medications contributed to the death of the NYSC corps member.

Her elder sister, Oyeyode Abimbola, speaking with Channels Television, gave her account of what transpired between her and her sister before her death:

“She called me five hours to her death and told me to start coming as the NYSC doctors are not doing anything for her. They thought she was pretending in order not to go for parade, so they did not attend to her.

She noticed a lot of rashes on her body after injection, family says
Ifedolapo Oladepo in camp before her death

It was a tale of tears, agony and regrets on Thursday in Osogbo the Osun state capital, as a National Youth Service Corps member, Ifedolapo Oladepo was buried.

Like many thousands of young graduates mobilised for the 2016 Batch ‘C’ service year, 26-year-old

Ifedolapo Oladepo, a first class Transport Management graduate of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho had said her goodbye to her family members, set for Kano, hoping to see her dreams fulfilled.

“When she started calling people from home, they eventually gave her an injection (and) immediately after the injection, she called me again that she noticed a lot of rashes on her body that I should speak with the doctor who refused to talk to me.

“She called five minutes later and told me her tongue was twisting, then they sent all her friends out after seeing all the reaction on her body after giving her the unknown injection,” she said amidst tears.

“She said we should get a flight and I called immediately but they told me Abuja flight is Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

“I told her to tell anybody in the clinic that I am a nurse and they should allow me to speak to them.

Later a male nurse took the phone from her and told me she was having anaphylactic reaction and they will watch her for just one hour and transfer her to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital but alas they did not transfer her until five hours later when they noticed she was restless and calling people at home.

“I boarded a bus going to Kano with her sister, Kemisola Oladepo, to go pick her from there. I begged them to take her to a teaching hospital around but they took her to a general hospital in Gwazo where they have nothing or little care to render.

“They took her phone from her, claiming she was not resting.

From that 5PM I could not talk to her, I took a 16-hour journey to make sure I get to her but I was called around 3AM that she gave up, without any doctor in the hospital to assist her.

“The only nurse on duty told me she tried her best by staying beside her when death was taking her away because there was nothing to use.

“From that 3AM till I got to Kano I was hoping it would only be a mix up somewhere it can’t be her my Dolapo is gone… (Sobs).

“I got to Kano and met her at Aminu Kano mortuary, alas it was her being put in that cold place.”

(Sobs) “ Amoke mi you couldn’t withstand the agony, NYSC successfully cut your destiny due to negligence.”

Although they are grieving, the Oladepo family wants the government to restructure the NYSC programme and provide infrastructure needed to prevent the loss of innocent young men and women all in the name of serving their fatherland.

Arrived Sick
The Press and Public Relations Head of the NYSC in Abuja, Mrs Bosede Aderibigbe, when contacted told Channels Television correspondent in Osun state via the telephone that “the deceased corps member, from the account I got, arrived the Kano orientation camp sick and presented a medical report.

She claimed that it was not the drill in the camp as being alleged that complicated her case.

“We trained all our commandants and officers not to force anyone who is weak to do the drilling exercises.

“Although what happened is a big loss to the family and NYSC as well because we lost a life, we can only console the family.

“I have called for the full medical report and will send it to you immediately I get it.

“What we needed to do we have done. We asked the NYSC in Osun to attend the internment and this is the normal thing to commiserate with the family.

“The family should please accept our condolences but all reports reaching me indicates that she was not forced to do the regular drills as alleged. That is what I can say for now,” she concluded.

In the meantime, our correspondent is yet to get the medical report which the NYSC official promised to send as evidence.

Gambian president, Yahya Jammeh, has conceded defeat to the opposition, Adama Barrow, after ruling the West African country for 22 years.

This was disclosed by the chairman of the country’s independent electoral commission, Alieu Momar Njie, on Friday.

Njie told reporters ahead of the announcement of the results of Thursday’s presidential election, “It’s really unique that someone who has been ruling this country for so long has accepted defeat.”

Jammeh was in for a fifth term with his party, Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction, APRC, while Barrow ran for eight political groups who united for the first time to field a single candidate.

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the Department of State Services, DSS, to free leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, as well as members of his family.

Zakzaky has been detained by the DSS since December 2015 when IMN members, also known as Shi’ites, clashed with Nigerian army in Zaria, Kaduna state.

According to the DSS, the Shi’ia leader was being kept in their custody for his own protection.

But the Shi’ites have continued protests, demanding for his release, claiming that the continuous detention of El-Zakzaky was against his fundamental human rights as enshrined in the 1999 constitution as amended.

At the court on Friday, the judge, Gabriel Kolawole, wondered what part of the law allows a person to be held in custody for his own protection.

He asked, “The decision to hold the applicant and his wife for their safety is based on which law?

“I have not been shown any incident report or any complaint lodged by residents around the neighbourhood that the applicant has become a nuisance to his neighbourhood.”

He then ordered the DSS to hand Zakzaky over to the police.

The judge directed that within 45 days, the DSS should release Zakzaky and his family to the police who would guard them at a safe place.

olawole further awarded N50 million to him and his wife.

US trained journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has said the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, is not coming out of jail any time soon.
The Snitch Lady said this after an Abuja Federal High Court denied Kanu bail.
Recall that Kanu, alongside Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, were re-arraigned by the Federal Government on 11 count charge bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony and publication of defamatory matter.

Justice Nyako recently took over the trial of Kanu following the withdrawal of the former trial judge, Justice John Tsoho , over allegation of bias leveled against him by the defence team of the pro-Biafra agitator.

However, the popular media personality whose public criticisms of people knows no bounds, took to her Facebook page to advice biafra supporters.

Madam KOO, as she is fondly called, wrote: “Biafra my LAST ADVICE to you in 2016 is to take it or swallow it with a grain of salt.

“Try to agitate and they will SIMPLY KILL YOU. The Amnesty report doesn’t bother our government.
“Even your GEJ watched the army kill boys and men in #Borno state with no accountability.
“Stay at home and enjoy your families. #NnamdiKanu aint coming out soon.

“The only two people that could have done that are the Igbo leaders who are not united and the #British government who support Aso Rock in labeling Kanu an alleged terrorist, which I believe, after calling for mass murder of Nigerians on his radio show.

“Na by force? #BiafraOrDeath killed his case.
“He brainwashed you, he paid for it! I warned you, you ignored me.
“He was offered freedom in exchange for ending agitation and he refused. One year old child in UK and wasting his family life,” she added.

A sex-starved housewife, Sherifat Asimiyu, on Friday approached an Ibadan Customary Court sitting in Agodi to dissolve her 10-year-old marriage with Mr Saheed Asimiyu.

Sherifat told the court that apart from starving her of sex, Saheed was also in the habit of beating and biting her whenever they have domestic quarrels.

The complainant said she could no longer cope without sex, as her husband had not slept with her in the last six months.

“There is no doubt about his ability to provide food, money and other material things for me and the two children of the union but I am not satisfied with all these without sex.

“He abandoned me deliberately, I cannot take it anymore because I am still young and I see no reason for his action.

“To make the issue worst, he was in the habit of beating and biting me whenever we have misunderstanding over minor issues,” she alleged.

The husband, who is a motor spare parts dealer, admitted that he had starved his wife of sex, as he was on “sex strike” in the last one month, to punish the woman for her bad character.

According to him, his action is to punish the complainant and make her to turn a new leaf.

The husband told the court that he had warned her several times to stop associating with bad friends, but had ignored him.

Saheed also told the court that he would not prevent his wife from getting the divorce she asked for, “if that is what will make her satisfied”.

Chief Mukaila Balogun, the president of the court upheld the prayer of the woman and approved the dissolution of the marriage.

The judge ordered the defendant to be paying N6,000 to Sherifat as monthly allowance for the upkeep of their two children.

Modu Sheriff risks being sent to jail if he continues to parade himself as chairman » of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
This was contained in a statement signed by the national publicity secretary of the PDP, Dayo Adeyeye on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.

Recall that Justice Valentine Ashi of FCT High Court Apo, Abuja in a judgement on June 29, 2016, had said that Sheriff should leave the position of PDP chairman.

Justice Nwamaka Ogbonnaya of the FCT High Court in Kubwa, Abuja upheld the judgement » in a ruling on August 17, 2016.
According to Adeyeye, Sheriff's decision to disobey the court may "land him in jail."

The PDP spokesman further urged Sheriff and "his team of confused travellers" to follow legal procedures by filing an appeal against the previous judgement in a court of law.

The statement reads;
"Our attention has been drawn to another set of garbage and tissues of lies put together by the discredited loyalists of Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff in the name of a press statement on Monday, November 28, 2016, wherein, the group tried to sustain it’s illegal claim to the leadership of our Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“The National Caretaker Committee which has been confirmed severally by the Court as the authentic body saddled with the task of providing leadership for the Party pending the hosting of an elective National Convention, would have ignored the ranting of these men of dishonour but leaving them to continue deceiving Nigerians at this time would not be in the interest of democracy.

“First and foremost, we wish to state categorically that in consonance with Judgment of various Courts, which Ali Modu-Sheriff and his team of confused travelers have not bothered to appeal, the former Borno State Governor is not the Chairman of our Party, the PDP.

His consistent claim to the Office is a continuation of their plans to sustain mayhem in our Party, but nature and fair justice have taken care of his desperation.

“We wish to draw the attention of all Nigerians to the Judgment delivered by Justice Valentine Ashi of FCT High Court in Apo, Abuja on June 29, 2016, which states clearly that Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff was never and is not the PDP National Chairman; and equally, this Judgment was upheld by the Ruling of Justice Nwamaka Ogbonnaya also of the FCT High Court in Kubwa, Abuja on August 17, 2016.

“It is instructive to note that Senator Modu-Sheriff and his team of circus performers have not deemed it fit to appeal the Court Judgments.

It is tripartite in law that a Judgment not appeal is binding on the defendant. The Courts have spoken, and their pronouncements are binding.

However, those who wish to spend the rest of their lives behind prison bars may continue to utter heresy against the Court.

“We hope their children would be proud to bear the family names of convicts. It is also morally wrong to accuse the National Caretaker Committee of being the reason why the Party is facing challenges in terms of unfavourable election results especially in Edo and Ondo States. Everyone knows the real enemies of the PDP.

We won’t also forget in a hurry the ignoble role Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim played in scuttling our campaign for the Ondo Election.

“We also know those who pushed him forward for the hatchet job.

We are amused that the agents of darkness used by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to cause confusion and frustrate our campaign for the Ondo Election, can accuse the National Caretaker Committee of impunity.

However, we simply want them to define what impunity is, using their acts of betrayal as a case study.

“What they are doing is the worst form of impunity, lawlessness, greed and avarice. Their call on the National Caretaker Committee to self disband is uncharitable and unconstitutional. If they have any shame, they are the ones that should quietly disband.

But honours can’t be expected from impostors. No matter what they say, we are determined as a political Party to forge ahead and put our house in order even without their inputs.

“The National Caretaker Committee has not called for their expulsion against the claims they are making, the time for that has not come. But the rain of vengeance will not hang forever in the clouds.

The National Caretaker Committee wish to appreciate all loyal Party members, urging them to keep the faith as the Appellate Courts will do justice to the various appeals pending before it at the appropriate time; to put an end to the antics of these enemies of progress masquerading as members of our Party.”

Meanwhile, Sheriff led faction of the PDP have threatened to sue Makarfi » led committee for issuing statements on behalf of the party.

Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said its Anchor Borrowers Programme for the promotion of Agriculture has set the country to begin exportation of rice by 2017.

The Anchor Borrowers Programme of the CBN and the Presidential Committee on Rice Production launched in July has jointly set the target.

The Acting Director of Corporate Communications of the apex bank, Mr
Isaac Okorafor, said this on Tuesday, November 29, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state , at a sensitisation workshop for farmers.

The theme of the workshop is entitled: "Promoting Stability and Economic Development."

According to him, farmers in Kebbi, Jigawa, Ebonyi, Sokoto and Cross River states, among others, have already keyed into the programme, resulting in massive rice cultivation.

He said the country will achieve self-sustenance in rice production if the momentum is sustained, adding that the country should commence exportation of locally produced rice by 2017.

Okorafor said Kebbi State has already harvested one million tonnes of rice, adding that Ebonyi’s rvest has outstripped the earmarked production for the year.

He said: "The development is encouraging and by the end of 2017, we will not only meet our national demand which is between six and seven million tons but have surplus to export.

"We must rid ourselves of eating foreign rice that has been stored for over nine years in Thailand, Vietnam and India. Nigerian rice is fresh and healthier.

"We should eat Nigerian rice provided for by the CBN Anchor Programme; 50 Kg of local rice is now N8, 000 in Ebonyi. Already, the Abia Government has ordered rice from Ebonyi for Christmas."

He further said: "What we have done with this programme so far is to create jobs through farming, especially for the unemployed youths.

"Nigerian youths must wake up, dust themselves up and join this worthy campaign.

"Remember that the status of our farmers is now better due to the support they are receiving as a result of government’s policy.

"Our currency is weak because we engaged in needless importation of all kinds of food stuffs, including tooth picks; the government is determined to stop this."

The Branch Controller, CBN, Yenagoa, Mr. Oke Nwajah , said the state is blessed with rich wet soil that supported rice cultivation.

He, therefore, urged the farmers to take pride in farming, adding that the Anchor Borrowers Programme is an intervention to reduce their burden.

The Senate has approved President
Muhammadu Buhari’s » request to amend the 2016 budget.
President Buhari had requested permission from the Senate to re-assign N180.8 billion to critical recurrent and capital items.
The upper legislative chamber approved the request on Tuesday, November 29, after receiving a report from the Appropriations Committee, which is led by Danjuma Goje.

Buhari is also seeking senate approval to secure a $30 billion loan facility to fund the budget.

The Election Petition Tribunal will commence pre-trial hearing in the case filed by Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu against Independent National Electoral Commision (INEC) and two others in Benin on Thursday.

PDP and Ize-Iyamu are challenging the declaration of Mr Godwin Obaseki of the
All Progressives Congress (APC) , winner in the Sept. 28 Edo governorship election by INEC.

The petitioners are asking the tribunal to nullify the result and instead, declare Ize-Iyamu as the winner of the said election.

But APC and Obaseki have urged the tribunal to discountenance PDP’s petition and uphold their application which challenged the areas where PDP claimed victory.

The tribunal had on Oct. 11, ordered INEC to allow PDP have unhindered access to all electoral materials in the Sept. 28 governorship election in Edo.

The order followed an ex-parte motion filed by PDP’s counsel, Mr Kingsley Obamogie.

Obamogie had argued that the motion was in compliance with section 151 of the Electoral Act, 2010 as amended which he relied on and prayed the court to grant them the order to inspect the INEC materials.

The three-member tribunal led by
Justice A. Badamasi , on Tuesday, fixed Thursday, Dec. 1 for the commencement of the pre-trial hearing in the petition.

The other two members of the tribunal are Justices E.A. Ade Sodun and Khadi Adamu Usman.

President Muhammadu Buhari, has condoled the government and people of Cuba over the death of Fidel Castro, the country’s longest serving President, who died aged 90.

In a condolence message signed by Mr
Femi Adesina, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Buhari offered his deepest condolences to the Cuban President, Raul Castro and the people of Cuba over the death announced early today.
Raul is the younger brother and successor of the deceased.

In the condolence message made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Abuja, Buhari noted that “the legendary leader passionately served his people for almost half a century.’’

He expressed the sympathy and solidarity of all Nigerians as Cubans mourn the exit of ‘this remarkable leader”.

Buhari noted that Castro, against all odds, stirred uncommon development in sports, education and healthcare sectors of his nation, even to the benefit of other nations.
He expressed delight that Castro lived to see the improved ties between his country and the United States.

“As a great friend to Africa, countries in the global South and the Non-Aligned Movement, Castro’s place in history is assured, given his sustained successful commitment and towering role in the liberation and anti-colonialism struggles in Africa, ” he said.

The Nigerian leader said that his prayers and thoughts were with Castro’s family, friends and many admirers “ as they go through this period of national mourning and exit of a truly admired selfless global leader .”

NAN reports that the late Fidel Castro took over power in Cuba in 1959 in a revolution and ruled the country for 49 years with a mix of charisma and iron will.

The late Cuban leader created a one-party state and become a central figure in the Cold War era.

Castro, who for five decades defied U.S. efforts to topple him, died on Friday at the age of 90.

He had been in poor health since an intestinal ailment nearly killed him in 2006 forcing him to formally cede power to his younger brother Raul Castro two years later.

A state funeral had been fixed for Sunday Dec. 4, in Santiago de Cuba, according to state media report.

The Nigerian Law Reform Commission recommends two years jail term for anyone found hoarding foreign currency.

The Senate has rejected a recommendation b the Nigerian Law Reform Commission to jail people hoarding foreign currencies.

The Commission had recommended the review of the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Act to empower the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to jail any bureau de change operator who holds on to foreign currency for more than 30 days.

It recommended two years jail term or 20 per cent fine of the amount of the currency held in their possession for one month.

The Senate’s spokesperson, Senator
Aliyu Abdullahi, said the measure is counter-productive and will undermine many of the reform efforts already being put in place in the legislature and by government ministries intended to boost investors’ confidence.

According to him, the proposed changes are intended to help control capital flows and prevent foreign exchange from being taken out of Nigeria.

"The Upper Chamber believes the CBN should have the authority to regulate the forex market and determine the exchange rate policy as already enshrined in its enabling Act," Abdullahi said.

While describing some of the Commission’s recommendations as sound and could help Nigeria’s investment climate, he insisted that a market-oriented exchange rate policy is the best recipe for guiding the operations of the foreign exchange market.

He said such policy will ensure the supremacy of market mechanisms in efficiently allocating the scarce forex resources.

The Department of State Service (DSS) had last week arrested foreign currency hawkers » in Kano state, and arrested over 40 of them.
